Charlie Terry is a Partner at Gould Grieco & Hensley (GGH), where he focuses his practice on advocating for individuals injured or killed in cases involving product liability, construction negligence, industrial incidents, medical malpractice, and motor vehicle and trucking collisions. Charlie also represents victims of sexual abuse.

Charlie began his career defending large corporations with a premier trial firm in Chicago, where he developed invaluable skills, including identifying how a Defendant will attack and defend cases with bet-the-company implications and hundreds of millions of dollars in exposure. While representing large corporate clients, Charlie quickly realized that his true passion was advocating for the rights of injured individuals and their families. From that point on, he began working for one of the oldest and most prominent Plaintiffs’ personal injury firms in Chicago. Throughout his career, Charlie has leveraged his defense experience to turn the tables on corporations and insurance companies while passionately representing injured parties.

Charlie is an experienced trial attorney with nationwide experience who thrives in the courtroom, having represented clients in both state and federal courts across the country. His unique experience working on both sides of the aisle allows him to bring a well-rounded perspective to the table when fighting and negotiating for his clients.

Currently, Charlie focuses his practice on representing families torn apart by death due to negligence, individuals severely injured during construction and industrial accidents, medical malpractice cases, and victims of sexual abuse/assault. He has achieved tremendous success in his career, aiding in the resolution and/or recovery of hundreds of millions of dollars related to catastrophic injuries and death. Notable results include:

Before practicing law, Charlie earned his J.D. from Chicago Kent College of Law and obtained his undergraduate degree from DePaul University, graduating magna cum laude. He is licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Court Northern District of Illinois, the State of Illinois, the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Michigan, and the State of Florida (Pro Hac Vice). Additionally, he is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyer Association (ITLA), Chicago Bar Association, and Illinois State Bar Association.

Raised in a blue-collar household on the northwest side of Chicago, Charlie is a first-generation American, the son of a union member immigrant. This background instills a blue-collar work ethic and determination that he brings to each case.
