Emma Nitsun is from the northern suburbs of Chicago. In May 2026, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Emma spent her summer with GGH in 2024, immersing herself in legal research and case support. She gained more legal experience the following summer, interning for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. There, Emma supported the Domestic Violence Division by serving as a liaison between attorneys and survivors. Emma is excited to return to GGH to continue advocating for those in need.

In her free time, Emma enjoys running and playing field hockey. She also likes to bake and spend time with friends.
