Gabi Vizzaccaro is a Legal Fellow at GGH Law and a rising third-year law student at the University of Detroit Mercy Law. Gabi is the Editor-in-Chief of the 2025–2026 Detroit Mercy Law Review where she is leading publication of Volume 103. As a member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates, Gabi was selected to compete in Seton Hall Law School’s 2025 John J. Gibbons Criminal Procedure Moot Court competition, where she sharpened her brief writing and oral advocacy skills.

In 2024, Gabi was selected for a highly competitive Summer Law Intern Program with the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., in the Commercial Litigation Branch. Although a Presidential Executive Order implementing a federal civilian hiring freeze ultimately prevented her participation, Gabi’s selection reflects her commitment to service and community. Now, Gabi will be joining GGH’s Detroit team and is excited to learn from excellent attorneys and advocate for clients.

Before law school, Gabi earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Economics from Michigan State University. After gaining some experience in a law firm, Gabi completed a service project with the Federal Emergency Management Agency where she assisted in response, recovery, and mitigation of natural disasters across the United States and its territories. Through this experience, Gabi developed an understanding of the support survivors need when facing a crisis.  She will develop these skills to better advocate and counsel clients through difficult legal and personal circumstances.

Outside of the law, Gabi teaches and choreographs dance for local studios and dance teams which allows for mentorship of students and develops her creativity.
