Kassandra Perez is a Paralegal/Victim Advocate at Gould Grieco & Hensley. 

Kassandra earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, with a supplemental major in Latine Studies from the University of Notre Dame. Being the daughter of Mexican immigrants, Kassandra learned the importance of community from an early age. As an undergrad, she interned with a Los Angeles based farm workers organization working on various immigration justice issues. She then worked with an Illinois non-profit on community outreach for the 2020 Census, educating the public on the importance of the census in both English and Spanish. Her advocacy work for migrant and refugee rights also led her to the Mexico/U.S. border where she accompanied families seeking asylum. 

Her passion for community organizing and advocating for human rights motivated her to join the legal field where she celebrates half a decade of experience as a litigation paralegal. Before coming to GGH, she provided support for attorneys on civil rights and labor and employment cases.

Outside of work, Kassandra enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves exploring new coffee shops in the city, reading, and baking gluten-free sourdough while serenading her dog, Draco.
