M’laah Kaur Singh is a Legal Assistant at Gould, Grieco & Hensley where she primarily works with the firm’s Clergy Abuse team. Her role centers on trauma-informed client communication, case preparation, and supporting the attorneys with research and document drafting. 

She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May of 2025 with a B.A. in Psychology and double minor in Political Science and Legal Studies. During her time at UIUC, she led several service initiatives across various campus organizations, danced competitively, and balanced a year-round law clerk position. 

Prior to joining the firm, M’laah worked at the Cook County Domestic Violence Courthouse in Ascend Justice’s Orders of Protection Clinic. She spent this time cultivating her strength to speak with survivors of abuse and help them navigate the court system. She hopes to pursue a career in public interest litigation, specifically focused on domestic violence and child welfare. 

In her free time, M’laah enjoys reading, Pilates, traveling, and watching Jubilee debates.
