Thien is a Paralegal / Victim Advocate at Gould, Grieco, & Hensley. She graduated from Loyola’s Paralegal certificate program with a certificate in litigation. She has a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University in criminology where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Thien is a first-generation Vietnamese American graduate of her family. Growing up as an immigrant, she has witnessed firsthand the injustices that vulnerable communities like immigrants and people of color may face in this country. This experience empowered Thien to stand up for the social rights of others to work against similar injustices.

Thien spent her college years working to combat the effects of incarceration on individuals, families, and communities. She has also done similar work with the homeless community. Little by little, Thien strives to create change. In her free time, she enjoys thrifting and watching movies.
