Lawsuit Alleges Decades of Sexual Abuse and Cover-Up at Detroit Youth Mental Health Facility; GGH Attorneys Highlight Victims’ Stories.
Attorneys Martin Gould and Parker Stinar announced the suit on behalf of three survivors, naming the Detroit Behavioral Institute, its parent company Acadia Healthcare, and a supervisor accused of much of the abuse. The suit alleges nearly two decades of sexual abuse against children at the facility, with victims who reported it allegedly facing retaliation.
