The Capitol Forum reported creating 95 underage Roblox accounts in one hour, examining why it matters and what it says about safety issues with the platform.
All 95 accounts were opened from a single computer using a fake 10-year-old birthday, with no phone, email, or age verification required to sign up. GGH founding partner Martin D. Gould, whose firm represents more than 400 alleged victims of abuse on platforms like Roblox and Discord, told the publication that Roblox’s open-world design and lack of age verification pose unique safety risks for children.
